The San Antonio Women in Information Technology (SAWIT) is a group of IT professionals (women and men) that exists to encourage women of all ages to seek a career in IT and to provide support and networking through their education, career, and beyond. Goals of Educate women on the resources and tools available to them o Support our community through outreach and awareness projects o Break barriers to heighten self-esteem and confidence o Address misconceptions and how to handle them o Foster learning and collaboration between men and women in IT o Promote a network of support and of influence.
